Support Our Partners

Their influence is felt well beyond the bounds of the City. BikePGH provides many opportunities to get to know the streets and neighborhoods of Pittsburgh for all riders and bikes. Pittsburgh Major Taylor Cycling Club (PMTCC)

PMTCC is dedicated to bringing the joy and health benefits of recreational cycling to Pittsburgh’s inner city urban neighborhoods. The Pittsburgh Major Taylor Cycling Club’s Major Force Youth Cycling Program (MFYCP) empowers Pittsburgh youth through learning the skills of cycling safely on Pittsburgh’s city streets and bike trails and benefits of a healthy lifestyle. The 10-week program ends with each participating youth receiving the bike that they have trained with as a reward. Every year PMTCC runs the 3-State McDermott Ride which travels the roads of PA, WV and OH. With the ride’s proceeds, twelve (12) kids from the McKeesport area were able to receive new bikes, receive cycling safety lessons and learn skill building tools to make them safe cyclists. To support the awesome work of PMTCC and Major Force or join in on their city rides, head over to Pittsburgh Major Taylor Cycling Club.
